If you’re dreaming of a Yorkshire vineyard wedding, Laura and Jack’s beautiful celebration at Little Wold Vineyard on 18th July 2026 is guaranteed to inspire you. Set amongst rolling countryside with breathtaking views, this unforgettable wedding perfectly combined elegant styling, personal touches, incredible suppliers and, most importantly, the couple’s beloved horses and dogs.
Bridal Preparations at Home
The morning began at Laura’s home, where excitement filled every room as preparations got underway. Laura looked absolutely stunning thanks to the incredibly talented bridal team of Kirstyelliemakeupartist and @jodielouisebridalhair, who created a timeless and elegant bridal look that perfectly suited the relaxed feel of the day.
With hair, makeup and finishing touches complete for the bridal party, it was time to head to one of Yorkshire’s most unique wedding venues.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Little Wold Vineyard
Perched high on a hillside, Little Wolds Vineyard offers panoramic views that stretch for miles across the Yorkshire countryside. Whether you’re planning an indoor celebration or hoping for an outdoor ceremony, the venue offers beautiful options throughout the year.
Laura and Jack were lucky as the dark clouds happily skirted the venue leaving us dry and a sudden burst of late afternoon and evening sunshine meant perfect golden hour light. Surrounded by family, friends and stunning scenery, it was the perfect setting to say “I do.”
Beautiful Equestrian Wedding Styling
One of the highlights of the day was how beautifully Laura and Jack incorporated their shared love of their animals throughout the wedding.
The handcrafted horseshoe ceremony arch created by @forgedinthewolds made an unforgettable focal point for the ceremony and would inspire any equestrian couple looking for unique wedding ideas.
Guests were also treated to the most beautiful handcrafted horse head table and place names, lovingly created by the incredibly talented @sophiebotsford. These thoughtful details reflected the couple’s personalities perfectly and added something truly unique to the reception styling.
The stunning floral arrangements by Kirsty Stephens completed the look beautifully. From the bridal bouquets to the ceremony flowers and reception décor, every arrangement complemented the vineyard setting perfectly and showcased just how much care had gone into every detail.
Including Horses and Dogs in Your Wedding
One of the things that made Laura and Jack’s wedding so incredibly special was that every member of the family was invited—including the four-legged ones.
Their dogs proudly took part in the celebrations, with Mabel carrying the first bouquet in with the bridesmaids, while the adorable Shetland pony, Mavis, completely stole everyone’s hearts.
Not only did Mavis carry the confetti, but she also walked gracefully down the aisle creating one of the most unforgettable moments of the entire day. It was a wonderful reminder that weddings should reflect who you are, and for Laura and Jack, that simply wouldn’t have been possible without including the animals they love.
Amazing Yorkshire Wedding Suppliers
A wedding like this doesn’t come together without an incredible team of talented suppliers, and Laura and Jack chose some of the very best.
Guests enjoyed amazing food provided by @shootthebull, keeping everyone well fed before the evening celebrations began.
It was also an absolute pleasure to work alongside @Darryl Forrester Videography, who was fantastic to spend the day with. Having a great photographer and videographer working seamlessly together makes such a difference, ensuring every special moment is captured beautifully while the day flows effortlessly for the couple.
Then came one of the biggest surprises of the day…the reception burst into life thanks to the fantastic singing waiter duo from Making Memories by G led by Geoff Handley (@geoffhandly). Within minutes, everyone was on their feet, singing at the top of their voices and the party atmosphere had well and truly arrived. It was the perfect way to kick off an unforgettable evening.
Golden Hour at Little Wold Vineyard
As photographers, golden hour is always one of our favourite parts of any wedding day—and at Little Wold Vineyard, it is something truly special.
As the sun begins to set across the vines, the entire landscape is bathed in warm golden light. The vineyard creates an atmosphere that feels more like the South of France than the Yorkshire Wolds, making it one of the most picturesque wedding venues I have had the pleasure of capturing.
For couples looking for stunning sunset photographs, romantic vineyard portraits and spectacular scenery, this venue really does have it all.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Wainwright
Laura and Jack, thank you for allowing me to be part of your incredible wedding journey. It was an absolute privilege to capture such a special day surrounded by your wonderful family, friends and, of course, your much-loved animals.
Congratulations once again, Mr & Mrs Wainwright. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness, adventure and many more wonderful memories together.
