Barefoot, Bareback, and Full of Laughter
Some moments live in your heart long before they ever become real. For Evie, riding her young horse bareback in a dress was a quiet dream she'd hoped for — a moment she won't forget. This shoot wasn’t just about capturing beautiful photos. It was about celebrating their trust, connection, and everything her boys mean to her in their home setting.
What were her thoughts on the shoot?
I’d always dreamed of having professional photos to treasure and display around the house—images that truly captured the bond I share with my horse. One of those dreams was to wear a dress and ride him bareback, and finally making that happen felt so special.
I was a little nervous he might be spooky around the camera or unsure about doing something different, but he completely surprised me. He was calm, curious, and clearly loved all the attention.
The shoot itself was everything I’d hoped for—great weather, great company, and such a relaxed atmosphere. Just spending quality time with the horses was enough, but seeing the results made it all the more magical.
My favourite image is the one with all three boys. It captures each of their personalities perfectly, and I feel incredibly lucky to have that moment preserved forever. The photos are such high quality and feel so true to us. They’re more than just pictures—they're memories I’ll cherish for a lifetime.
